NASW SC Begins a New Continuing Education Committee
Rachal Hatton, LMSW, Central Unit Representative, and Takela Funderburk, MSW Candidate, are the Chairpersons of the Continuing Education Committee. Currently the committee is in the process of identifying professionals who are interested in presenting at continuing education events, including teaching licensure preparation courses. The committee is also seeking to hear from members what their interests are in regards to continuing education. A goal of the CEU committee is to host an event each month, and we are eager to develop interesting and useful educational opportunities for Social Workers in South Carolina. A survey will be posted soon on the website to solicit members' input on planning future educational events.
